Hello again!

Hi all! I guess I haven’t been updating in a while and that’s because.. well I simply forgot that I even have a tumblr account. Anyways, quick updates about me:

1. I have graduated from Limkokwing University and have continued on taking my Masters Degree in Monash 

2. I am currently obsessed on bicycles especially fixed gears (or what are commonly referred to as ‘fixies’

Wahai indonesiaku..

Hari ini hari yg sgt membosankan. Gw klas dr jam 9 pagi, jam 11 fitness trus jam stengah 2 klas lg. Kbetulan dosen strategic management gw org bosnia. Bentukannya gendut dan sepintas raut mukanya mirip mr. bean.. Dklas kerjaannya cman ngajar, bercanda, dan ngata2in org negro. Pernah suatu saat dia nyuruh org negro bwat diem dgn berkata:

“shut up!! go and kidnap some people!”

Hahahahaha!! rasis bgt yak si bule nh.. Meski plajarannya menarik, tp ttp aja gw tadi nyaris ketiduran..

Saat gw dalam fase udh mau tidur bgt, tiba2 tmn gw nepok gw dr blakang.. Namanya amir, asal dia dr iran. Berikut konversasi kita:

Amir: hei man.. Elang: hei wassup? Amir: ok.. Boring class huh? Elang: i agree bro, i almost fell asleep just a minute ago. Hahaha Amir: hahaaha. Hei man i was wondering, i have a lot of indonesian friends and i also have a lot of malaysian friends. I really think indonesia is a great country. As a friend you guys are great! With no disrespect, why is it when i read the news, i only hear about the bad stuff? Floods, polution, traffic, corruption.. I’ve never been to indonesia but why is it that you guys aren’t performing too well? Is it the government? Is it it the people?

Dgn banyaknya informasi yg masuk saat badan gw dalam state super ngantuk, butuh waktu bbrp saat untuk gw mencerna informasi2 dan pertanyaan2 yg dia ajukan.

Elang: you want to know what i think man? I think it’s basically caused by how indonesians think. It is how we think and solve problems that makes us distinctive. In other words we are to creative. This is our gift and our curse.. Mentality is the key in building a good country and mentality in indonesia sucks! We can only complain, copy, take credit, back stab, and worst of all, we are too proud of ourselves!

Amir: hmmm i see.. It’s just that i can’t see why you guys are not performing so well where yoy guys are basically the same..

Di point ini si guru bule menegur kita dan menunjuk ke papan tulis. Tapi dpikiran gw trus terngiang pertanyaan si amir dan pertanyaan yg tiba2 muncul dr hasil pembicaraan td..

Apa yg telah terjadi kepada Indonesia?
